Hey Fitness Friends!
My name is Kaila Anderson and I am a current student at the Univeristy of Colorado- Boulder studying Integrative Physiology. My passion for fitness started when I joined my community swim teamin Minnesota at the age of 8. After that, I fell in love with the water and swam competiively until my freshmen year of college. Through out that time I was a dedicated cross country skier and track athlete. I loved anything that involved me challneging my body and being iwth my friends. The active lifestyle that Coloardo offered enticed me to bring my undergrad studies to the foothills of Boulder. During this time I realized my passion for fitness was so great that I wanted to share it with others. I enrolled at the National Personal Training Insitute in Lakewood, CO. After 6 months and 500 hours later I was a certified NASM Personal Trainer. I started training at the University of Colorado and grew my passion even more through the dedication and hardwork I see my clients put in each and every day. As the lead trainer and Fitness and Wellness superivisor I promote an overall inclusivness wellness approach to fitness and try to educate the campus student body about healthy choices they can make in their day to day lives. I take a functional apprach in my training and belive that training a body capable to perform in real life situations are when real results are seen. Outside of the gym, I enjoy hiking, skiing, particapting in triathlons, and sharing good times and memories with my friends.
