I received my BS degree in Fitness in 1996. Where I lived, there were no openings that paid more than minimum wage for fitness instructors so I became a banker. I was in banking from 1995-2002. I have 2 children and was a stay at home mom from 2002-2007 and did not officially work during this time. I got recertified in group fitness and personal training January 2007 and began teaching aqua aerobics classes and SilverSneakers classes. I started with only 2 classes per week and now am up to 18 classes per week for participants’ ages 0-96 years old. I also have 3 regular personal training clients that I meet with 1-4 times per week depending on the client. I am a full time student at Western Governer's University studying to be an elementary education and/or special education teacher. I substitute teach at my children's school in Physical Education, Music and regular elementary education classes. I substitute for other fitness classes in the area since I have a great family of instructors that work together to make sure classes are covered and not cancelled. I am licensed in all the classes that Zumba® offers. I am in the process of putting together routines and choreography for an aqua aerobics class and Aqua Zumba® class for Bond Wellness. I am licensed to teach Zumbini™ for music and movement classes that are designed for 0-4 year olds and their caregivers. I am trained to teach SilverSneakers MSROM and CardioFit. I have a very busy schedule and an exercise vacation in a warm tropical climate would be great.
