My journey into the fitness world was unorthodox at best. From a very young age I had always been very heavyset, my heaviest being 250 pounds with a BMI of over 40 by the time I turned 17. Upon graduating high school I chose to pursue an education in the sciences, I also knew that I needed a push in the right direction when it came to my health. I chose the Fitness Specialist program because it would not only help me make myself better, but I knew if I could make some big life changes I could do that with people after I graduated. After finishing my 2 year degree I moved to CO and further immersed myself into the fitness culture. At CSU I joined the triathlon team and began running longer distances, later becoming triathlon team president. After graduating in Health and Exercise Science I got a job as a fitness specialist at a corporate center. I now teach 3-5 fitness classes per week. My journey into fitness gives me much credibility with my clients I absoloutely enjoy helping people define their own personal success and achieving it!
