On a fluke, five years ago I decided to try a Zumba class.  I was hooked, losing weight and getting healthier... and having a ball.  Because my instructor needed some shoulder surgery, she could no longer teach.  I was inspired to become an instructor to keep myself.  Since then I have been teaching Zumba for three years.  I am 51, married for 29 years with two grown sons.

I am a self employed Zumba instructor in a small town, that becomes a large one in the summer.  I live in a vacation destination, Door County WI, year round.  During the winter my classes are small and during the summer they are very large!

Having owned a shop in this area for 16 years I am very aware of people on vacation, how to treat them, and what their needs can be.

I closed my shop last December so that I could spend more time creating events, styling weddings and focusing on giving back to my community.

Zumba is so important to me, and I love teaching, dancing and seeing the grins and sweat from my students... all in a very lively, yet safe atmosphere.
