I have a been active for my entire life. I was a classically trained ballet dancer for over ten years, and a competive, downhill ski racer as well. After years of "abusing" my body in point shoes, I was looking for a way to maintain my muscle tone, flexibility and strength in a more gentle manner. I came across Yoga in 2003, and feel in love. I practiced on my own and in classes, and in 2009, I went to Costa Rica to aquire my 200RYT Yoga Alliance Certification. I have taught Vinyasa Flow Yoga for four years, and I continue to be an avid Yoga student as well. In addition to Yoga, I enjoy Zumba, Kickboxing, Strength training, biking and hiking. I am dedicated to a whole plant diet, and juicing. I feel that Yoga helped me to get my diet to where it is today. Health and wellnes make me feel alive and energized, it is what I am passionate about, and what gets me going every single day.
