Corissa Sivorot loves all things fitness! Born and raised on Vancouver Island, she loves the outdoors and was active from an early age, involved in dance and various sports. Following High School however, exercise was no longer part of her regular routine. After a few years (or 5…) this was no longer acceptable for her and she became determined to get her fitness back!
Corissa’s personal fitness journey has been centered on the pursuit of “feeling good, strong and healthy,” and she is passionate about sharing the many benefits of consistent exercise with others. She became certified as a Personal Trainer in 2009 and soon after was introduced to Kettlebell training. After her first class, Corissa realized that training with Kettlebells was something special! It completely changed the way she approached exercise. Corissa continued on to attain her Kettlebell Certification in order to bring the benefits she experienced through Kettlebell training to her clients.
This is not the end of her fitness story, however! Through her own experience with injury and in working with clients, Corissa recognizes the importance of posture, balance, mobility and joint stability in building healthy and strong bodies. Since Corissa turned to Yoga and Pilates to maintain her own body’s wellness and longevity, she decided to pursue her certification to round out her training.
Now with several certifications under her belt, Corissa is delighted to share her passion for fitness and expertise with others. She believes that “Health is our Greatest Wealth” and is honored to be a part of your fitness journey!
Corissa Sivorot teaches Kettlebells, Pilates, Yoga and Bootcamp. She also offers one on one Personal Training and Partner Training.
