I fell in love with yoga many years ago during a time in my life when I must have really needed it. I'll never forget the day I left that first class, I actually felt taller as I walked out! For me, practicing yoga has always been more about loving the way it makes me feel during the class and afterwards than it has ever been a way to exercise. I decided I wanted to help others experience the transformation that yoga can make. I know that shifting your perceptions about what you think you can and cannot do is the first step when it comes to practicing yoga. And if you allow the practice to engage you, it will unsettle the physical and emotional tension in your body and allow healing, insight and transcendence to occur. I embrace any opportunity to teach yoga, but my love is teaching SUP Yoga (Stand Up Paddle Board) as well as power yoga for detoxifying and toning the body.
