In college I saw the need for more fitness professionals, which led me to get my first certification through IFTA in 2002. After college I wanted to pursue a career that I could combine fitness and my love to help people. I joined the Savannah Fire Department in 2008 and then figured out how I could incorporate fitness. I joined the peer fitness program which helped get firefighters fit for duty as well as train the new recruits to become firefighters. After 3 years in Savannah I switched cities to Atlanta, Ga. From there I wanted to begin to truly learn the fitness industry, so I joined Athletic Club Northeast as a certified personal trainer. I learned the in's and out's of the fitness business with the goal of opening up my own company. In 2012 I was able to fufill that dream and currently am still a personal trainer at the gym as well as owner operator of firefighter fitness in Atlanta. I am NCCA accredited as a personal trainer and hold ACE group fitness instructor and Peer Fitness InstructorI currently a firefighter for the city of Atlanta as well, and I appreciate your time.
