Jennifer Kavanagh is the founder of Pura Vida Soul Institute, a sanctuary dedicated to helping individuals navigate the chaos of our modern lives to find a place of harmony, peace, and connection to one’s soul. She offers holistic training programs that allow individuals to connect with their mind, body, and soul in unique and energetic ways.
Jennifer is a 200-hour certified Yoga Instructor with more than seven years experience practicing yoga and teaching adults. She is certified in hatha, vinyasa, and Danysa-Inspired styles of yoga. Jennifer completed her training under the talented Sofiah Thom and Larry Thraen of Bamboo Yoga Play in Dominical, Costa Rica.
The unique fusion of movement, meditation, art, and mindfulness that Jennifer brings to her classes, workshops, and retreats is unlike any other. She has spent years studying a variety of practices and modalities, including the completion of doctoral research in the use of holistic practices to help adults reconnect with their passion and purpose in life. Jennifer also spent 8 years working as a corporate trainer in a variety of government, corporate, and non-profit settings. After burning out and yielding to a deep desire to connect with her true purpose, she transitioned from helping organizations to helping individuals. Jennifer believes her role is to connect with other working professionals who are suffering from burnout and fatigue and guide them back to their higher purpose through unique, inspired, and playful programs.
Jennifer currently resides in Gravenhurst, Ontario with her husband. She enjoys spending time outdoors, whether it be reading in a hammock, hiking through the forest, or rappelling down waterfalls.
