Training for ten years
My passion for fitness began in college, when the gym first became “my home away from home.” I have been studying the body, nutrition, and exercise since 1998, but I first began my personal training career in 2003. I have since continued my career in the fitness industry as a Wellness Coach with Body ‘N Sync. The lifestyle changes I have seen in my clients led me to continue my education in fitness, supplementation, and overall wellness. I am currently working on my certification as a Weight Loss Specialist from Proevity, a certification for medical professionals. When it comes to personal training, I have experience working with athletes in sports such as swimming, dance, cheerleading, soccer, football, and golf. I also work with adults and children with a variety of fitness goals. I more recently began teaching group exercise classes in 2007 as well. I teach step, abs/core, Tabata, Spin, and sports conditioning classes. I leave each fitness class with more energy and am sure to make sure each of my participants is satisfied as well. I summited Mt. Rainier two years ago after training for hours on the stair mill with a 30-40lb pack on my back, practicing with stair climbs up the Sears/Willis Tower, and building core strength. It was an experience I will never forget. Because of my experiences, I hope to help others train for their own life changing events such as climbing a mountain, completing a century ride, training for a marathon or any other physical endeavors.
I genuinely enjoy helping others learn about wellness, while providing workout regimes, supplement guidelines, and quality of life solutions. Educating others in the world of health has become my passion.
