Jennifer Trimmier

Jennifer is an ACE certified personal trainer who provides personal training and wellness coaching for individuals and groups.  Jennifer’s methods are based on an "everything in moderation" philosophy and she provide realistic, easy to follow fitness and wellness plans that teach her clients how to behave and succeed in real-world situations.

 My specialties include

  •  Corrective exercise to relieve minor aches and pains
  •  Post-physical therapy exercise programming after orthopedic surgery
  •  Exercise, nutrition & wellness coaching for weight loss

Jennifer uses many exercise methods in order to help her clients meet their goals.  Some of her favorite training styles are

  • High intensity interval training (HIIT)
  • Small group weight training
  • Boot camps
  • Yoga for fitness, mindfullness & flexibility

Jennifer believes that it is extremely important to not just lead clients through workout routines, but to teach them how to apply healthy principles throughout their everyday lives. She understands that knowing how to act when the trainer isn't around is what truly allows someone to be successful!

ACE certified personal trainer versed in common health and wellness topics including Exercise Physiology, Anatomy and Kinesiology, Client Management, Health Screening and Assessment, Fitness Testing, Nutrition, and Training for Special Populations.

Proficient communication skills, both written and verbal, with extensive experience in a coach-client environment as well as briefing both front line employees and Fortune 150 executive management.

Everyday duties with Strong Body San Antonio include:

  • Conducting health-history interviews with clients to identify potential cardiovascular disease risk factors as well as contraindications or limitations to exercise. 
  • Assisting clients in setting SMART goals and in enabling behavior change through easy to follow fitness, wellness, and nutrition plans that have an emphasis on health promotion and disease prevention.
  • Empowering clients to begin and adhere to wellness programs using guidance, support, motivation, lapse-prevention strategies, and effective feedback.
  • Educating clients on how to exercise correctly and how to decipher and follow national consensus guidelines for exercise and nutrition.
  • Designing comprehensive and structured exercise programs and leading clients through them to meet cardiovascular and resistance training goals.
  • Guideing clients to reputable, verified health and wellness information to help them adopt healthful behaviors that facilitate wellness program success.
  • Collaborating with 2 orthopedic surgeons to create realistic resistance training programs for pre and post operative spinal fusion and joint replacement clients after they are released from physical therapy rehabilitation.
