SACHA HORVATH

Sacha took her first Power Yoga class at Rama Lotus in 2006 given by an inspiring Yogi named Ian Fraser. Yoga has become an important part of Sacha’s life. She strives to put its principles into practice both on-and-off her Yoga mat on a daily basis.  Today, she does it not only for its physical benefits; but also, for the mental, emotional, and spiritual benefits and the overall balance it brings to her well-being.

To this point, Sacha has completed 200-hour of Power Yoga at Mountaingoat in Ottawa; and has applied numerous more hours of practice to excel in her Yoga skills.  Additionally, she has also invested in her personal inner journey to develop psychology and therapy skills, and has worked as a professional counselor for the last six years, which allows her to bring valuable life-experience to her Yoga-teaching. She has completed her Masters degree in Counseling and Spirituality at St Paul University in 2007, and is registered with the Canadian Counseling and Psychotherapy Association; and she is currently working with the Aboriginal population. 

Sacha has a bubbly dynamic personality. She is fun-loving and is passionate about breathing and living a full healthy life. In addition to yoga, she enjoys traveling, vintage findings, learning, self-development and snowboarding.
