I began my interest in athletics and aerobics when I started college at UW-Eau Claire, WI in 1995. I quickly fell in love with step aerobics, cardiokick boxing, boot camp style classes, and spinning. I started attending these classes on a regular basis and soon found myself in the instructor's seat. By my second year at college I was not only teaching 4 spinning classes a week, a step aerobics class, and a boot camp, I was in charge of the staff schedule, creating the classes, and helping select new instructors. My passion continued after college (and my business degree), and I quickly found my new home's gym - the Princeton Club in Madison, WI. I became MadDog Spinning certified, CPR certified, and have taken hundreds of hands-on cycling classes, boot camps, on-line education, to develop my own style with my classes. I taught sculpt (boot camp style class) for many years before having my first child. I teach without notes or scripts. I truly feel I create the best classes when I can work off the feeling of the room and the energy the class provides. I've had the same spinning participants in my classes for years. I am now a certified Personal Trainer and am beginning to take on one-on-one client opportunities. I love seeing the results people obtain and how it changes their lives for the better. I am 41 now, married with two children, and always looking for that next step in fitness and nutrition.
