Ever since I can remember, health and fitness has been part of my life. My mother was a dancer at a very young age and my father has always enjoyed physical fitness from a young boy. So growing up, my younger brother and I were exposed to exercise and physical movement – our family time centered around physical activities.
In grade school and high school, I was involved in numerous sports, and naturally I studied human kinetics in University, and graduated with a Kinesiology degree.
I’ve always wanted to help people so I got certified in personal training so that I can help others get fit, lose weight, but most importantly, improve their overall health.
An added bonus is that I get to help people gain their confidence and feel good about themselves, which they haven’t felt in a long time. This is probably the best part about being a personal trainer. I am so fortunate to be doing something that can help change lives in a positive way.
