Laura is a life long athlete. After playing tennis in college, Laura took up running, completing many half marathons and one full, including coaching marathon athletes for Team in Training. Laura ran the Miami half marathon in 2012. Recognizing the need to incorporate yoga into a cardio heavy lifestyle, Laura became a certified yoga instructor in 2010 specializing in athletes. Laura has taught NFL combine draftees, local high school sports teams, marathon runners, and held yoga for racquet sports workshops all along the North Shore. Laura continues to play tennis, winning the 2011 and 2012 Evanston Women’s Open Doubles championship. Laura recently became Chicago's first certified Broga®Yoga instructor, a fitness based yoga program combining traditional fitness exercises and yoga postures.
