Born and raised in Germany until age 20, studied and received B.Sc., M.Sc, and D.Sc. in Israel. Moved to U.S. at age 33 for post-doctoral work. Currently holding rank of Research Professor at University of Michigan. Group Fitness Instructor since 1990. Personal characteristics: Extremely enthusiastic, ultra-high energy, very interactive with class participants. Fluent in English, German, and Hebrew, as well as some French.
