I first experimented with yoga back in college, over 10 years ago. At first, a bit timid, realizing I needed to broaden my fitness to include some ‘stretching’ for injury prevention. A competitive runner and dancer in high school, athletics and remaining active was always part of my life. It wasn’t until becoming a mom for the first time in 2007, that I revisited yoga and took it seriously. It was way more than stretching! A prenatal Iyengar class had me hooked! Since then I have followed my dream to become certified, become a devoted student and love all things yoga! You will also see me teaching Spin and Sculpt classes, but, as I tell all my students, make sure and do your yoga with all your other training, it’s so important! I enjoy incorporating various types of yoga styles in my classes, including the 26 poses, Vinyasa, Power and Iyengar. I thank my teachers for their warmth and knowledge as I continue to grow as a student and teacher.
