People seem to think that you have to be flexible to take a yoga class, so they avoid it.  The truth is that you don’t have to be flexible to do yoga. The great thing about yoga is, it meets you wherever you are at.  Despite popular belief the goal of yoga is not to bend yourself into a pretzel it is to build core strength and increase flexibility. Yoga is a great addition to any workout program.  The deep mindful breath work will increase lung capacity, which can improve endurance in any activity. Most of us spend a great deal of energy looking to the external world to find peace, love and abundance. Yoga teaches us to look inward for those things and more.  It’s all there for you; you just have to tap into it.

I entered my 200-hour RYT yoga teacher-training program simply to deepen my personal practice, but on my nine month journey, I discovered that I love teaching.

I would describe my classes as Gentle Flow.  Slow mindful movements combined with some faster pace flow to build strength and keep the mind focused.  Yoga will relieve stress, strengthen your core, balance your body, calm your mind and transform your spirit.
