Anthony Frascogna

My name is Anthony Frascogna.  I have been teaching Physical Education for eighteen years.  I have taught Elementary, Middle and High School.  Tennis is one of our main units.  We cover in both large and small groups.  I have taught anywhere from 10 to 40 kids at one time.  I have given private lessons in tennis over the summer.  I also have experiece working with special needs children.  I have also ran summer camps for five years where Tennis is one of our events.  I was responsible for all aspects of the camp.  I created, advertised, registered the students, and ran the camp.  I also oversaw 15 counselors.  I also run a baseball camp every summer.  I know baseball experience is not required for this position but I have experience and knowledge to organize large groups of people.  I know how to keep different activites running at all times.  My camps are a "drop off" camp and I am responsible for the campers as their parents are not present.  My summer camps have up to 150 campers.  Many of the campers are return campers.  I know how to make sports fun even for the most challenged person. I work for the Town of Brookhaven Recreation Department from Spring until Fall where I oversee Recreational facilities.  I am responsible for the operations of baseball, soccer and lacrosse fields.
