or as long as I can remember, I have always been interested in health and fitness.  I decided in 6th grade that I wanted to be a nurse because I was fascinated by the human body and wanted to help others be healthy.  I attended Purdue University and earned my bachelor of science in nursing.  While at Purdue, I discovered a new passion to help people get healthier through group excercise classes.  I started teaching fitness classes at the Co-rec and I became a certified group exercise instructor through AFAA.  

Upon graduation, I moved to St. Louis and started a job as an RN on the neurology unit at a local hospital.  It was difficult to see so many chronic & preventable conditions.  There was much concern about what pharmaceuticals went into their body, but not always as much thought into what food also went into their body.  

On my days off, I worked at a chiropractor’s office that specialized in nutrition and weight loss.  It was very refreshing to see how the patients got healthier, had more energy, lost weight, and decreased need for medication.  This really ignited a passion in me!  I really want to be able to reach people before they ended up in the hospital.   I wanted to be able to educate and instruct people how to live a healthy and fulfilled life.   Therefore I decided to turn to nutrition for natural healing and prevention. That is when I learned of the Institute of Integrative Nutrition.  I quickly enrolled and loved every second of school while learning so much!  Therefore I was inspired to turn my dream of truly helping others into a reality by creating Nourish Radiance.  Since then, it has been an amazing journey of making a impact on the lives of my clients & their families!
