As to my physical activity history: – weight training, judo, and fencing to my 30’s, registered fitness instructor at Langara YMCA (weight training, aerobics, stretch & strength, aquafit etc.) into my mid 40s, distance running (founder & coach of “turtles” running club – 20 years of marathons, endless shorter races) till I was about 60. Then I suffered a non-running knee injury that put me out of distance running and a friend introduced me to Yoga.
Currently I am registered in Restorative Yoga, Hatha Yoga, Kundalini Yoga, Chair Yoga, & Pilates.
(In my other life I am a consulting research psychologist, previously an academic (e.g. UBC), BC Government Director (Police Services) and a Senior Manager at the Provincial Auto Insurer (ICBC -Traffic Safety area)).
