As a long time practitioner of yoga, I appreciate the many health benefits that yoga can provide, especially in the areas of physical strength and flexibility, stress reduction and mood stabilization, and awareness of proper body alignment and mechanics. Through my years of working in the field of orthopedics I saw just how many people are either injured or accepting a diminished quality of life because they do not understand how to care for their physical bodies. My passion is to use yoga to teach others how to care for themselves and realize their full potential. My teaching style is a combination of basic hatha yoga and vinyasa flow with an emphasis on proper alignment and breathing techniques. I believe that with proper modifications, yoga can benefit anyone regardless of age or fitness level. If you can breathe, you can benefit from yoga.
