2014: Wrote chapter for the ACE-AHFS Trainer Manual entitled “Professional Skills”
2013-2014- Recipient of Morris Braun Foundation Exercise Grant for Parkinson’s exercise programs. A grant from the local chapter of the American Parkinson’s Disease Association.
2013- Raised $15,000 for the Women’s Fitness Association at the summer “Fitness Throw Down”
2012- Started the Women’s Fitness Association that debuted in Las Vegas at the 2012 Club Industry Conference.
2012- Raised over $5,000 at the “Night of Inspiration: How Fitness Saved My Life” Fundraiser for the Women’s Fitness Association. September 2012.
2012-2014: Became host of the “Lisa Coors Show-Women Pioneers in Fitness” on Anderson Community Television. Show is filmed quarterly.
2011 & 2012 Recipient: “Morris Brawn Foundation Parkinson’s Exercise Grant”.
- This grant is given by the local chapter of the National Parkinson’s Foundation to support exercise program development.
September 2011: Wrote and published “Specific Exercises for the Parkinson’s Client”, an at home exercise manual for people who have Parkinson’s Disease.
December 2011- “Volunteer of the Month” Inter Parish Ministries
- Inter Parish Ministries is our company charity. We host a Christmas Toy Drive and our staff volunteers yearly at the IPM Christmas Toy Sale.
