My love of fitness began in high school as a cheerleader.  I started teaching aerobics classes at age 16 and continued teaching through college, where I studied Exercise Science.  I have experience teaching a wide variety of formats, including yoga, mat Pilates, hi-lo, step, kickboxing, boot camp, cycle, strength training, aqua, and barre. 

The type of yoga I teach is a mix of styles, but primarily vinyasa flow. It is a very athletic class but I give many modifications based on the students.  I also teach much more basic Hatha yoga.  I am honored that people choose to spend their time with me, and my goal is always that they leave class feeling successful in some way. I try to make yoga more understandable and accessible, and less intimidating and mysterious.

When I'm not teaching or practicing on my own, I spend time with my family (including my rescue dog, Albert) and friends, running, shopping, and reading.
