Kelsey grew up in Gig Harbor, WA, where her passion for health and fitness started at a young age. Although she was active during her youth, it was not until college that Kelsey truly began to understand the importance of having a healthy lifestyle. Kelsey graduated from Eastern Washington University with her BS in Exercise Science, and then went on to receive her MS in Exercise Science, with emphasis on Performance Enhancement. Kelsey holds certifications in Crossfit Level 1 Training, Level 1 Sport Performance Coach for USA Weightlifting, Performance Enhancement Specialist through NASM, and Speed and Agility Coach through NASE. She is always anxious to learn new and improved ways to train, for her benefit and the benefit of others.
Throughout college, Kelsey worked as a Group Exercise instructor as well as a Personal Trainer, but it wasn’t until she started training with kettlebells and weight training that she learned how to push others, as well as herself, to the next level, both physically and mentally.
Kelsey currently competes in Kettlebell sport and has received her CMS professional ranking in the Long-cycle event. When she is not training for her next competition, Kelsey stays active by training at CrossFit Rewired and running regularly.
