Merri Johns

Merri Johns has always had a passion for fitness and wellness. Merri continued her passion at Iowa State University pursuing a Bachelor’s of science degree in Kinesiology. While at Iowa State, she interned with Plus One at Wellmark working as a Health Fitness Specialist. From there, Plus One hired her as a personal trainer where she gained experience in working with a wide variety of people on varying health and fitness goals. Following her hire onto the Plus One team, she also accepted a position with the City of Ames as a personal trainer and group fitness instructor. She taught TRX, boot camps, trampoline, sculpting, senior classes, and high intense interval training.  Merri is also ACSM certified in personal training and TRX certified. She believes that fitness and wellness should be enjoyed by everyone. Merri is excited to help the Payless employees reach their health and wellness goals!
