I have always enjoyed a life of fitness from a very younge age. I began lifting weights at 16 and enjoyed many other types of exercise including, aerobics, fitness classes and yoga. I injured my back in 2006 and started doing yoga as a rehabilitation practice and immediately fell in love with how it made me feel. I continued to practice yoga for years and then decided I wanted to teach and have others enjoy it as much as I do. I live in a small comminuty where there is not much offered in the way of fitness. I have created a great following of yogis and I absolutely love how I have met and taught yoga to people I may not have met otherwise. I teach power vinyasa yoga in a infared heated room.
I enjoy being active because it makes me feel so healthy. I am focused on my health and being active is a very major part of that for me. I have a 3 year old and Im able to keep up with her busy life. I enjoy activities such as weight lifting, yoga, biking, nature walks, swimming and being active with my daughter. I am due to have another baby now and I have been doing power yoga the entire time and I feel great ( actually better than my first pregnancy).
