Rebekah Johson

Hi!
My Name is Rebekah Johnson. I am a yoga teacher in a small town in South Jersey. I started praticing yoga in college and have continued my practice for the past 12 years. August 2009 I competed my 200hr RYT with Marianne Wells. Since then I have been teaching in a studio setting and have opend my own studio, Bee Inspired Yoga. Bee Inspired has grown so much in the past 2 years. I have hired 2 more instructors and we are currently at 12 classes a week - both public and private classes. My vision for Bee Inspired is to inspire my community. Whether it is through yoga or through service. We hold karma yoga classes to give back to the communty, most recently for the humane society, and local food bank. Coming up we are raising money for Living Beyond Breast Cancer to help those currently living with cancer and their families. 

My other passion is swimming. I am an open water distance swimmer. This past year I completed my first 10k swim and this year I am hoping to complete my first 10 mile swim. Being in the water is like second nature to me, and I love swimming in new places, although the ocean will always be my first choice. But other favorites have inclued Lake Tahoe, swimming back from Alactraz and around the Statue of Liberty. 

Other hobbies include knitting, sewing, reading, baking, spending time with my family and friends and on Saturday nights in the summer I work at the oldest running weekly rodeo on the east coast, Cowtown Pro Rodeo. I have been working their since a small girl, selling hats and tshirts. It is such a fun and unique place, truely a one of a kind experience. 

I always tell my clients to smile. that no matter what to turn up the corners of their mouth relax. No matter where I am or what I am doing I can always find something postiive. And I hope to inspire others to do the same.
