Danielle Mendoza

My name is Danielle Mendoza, and I was born February 25, 1992 in Lubbock, Texas. Most people know me as Nelly Mendoza. I currently am a "stay at home mom" my boyfriend and I have been together since August 2011 and on April 17, 2013 we welcome our son. I am a petite 5'4" 126 pounds and gained 27 lbs through pregancy, within a year of having my son I lost the 27 lbs plus an extra 10 lbs! I am very blessed to be able to stay home with my son and instruct Zumba till I go back to school for Rad Tech. Before Zumba, before my boyfriend, and before my son I played softball and volleyball from 8 years old through some college. Playing ball year around in both sports I was always active. When I retired playing ball I was looking for the next best thing, which is how I fell in love with Zumba Fitness. It is so empowering I love seeing women step out of their comfort zone and gaining confidence.
