My name is Kristina Mehls. I was born in Denver, Colorado, grew up on the beaches of Florida, and then moved back to Colorado after high school to learn to ski. I began teaching group fitness in late 2008. Presently I instruct 3 formats of MOSSA (formerly Body Training Systems) group fitness programs. Group Power is a strength/endurance class; Group Core, is a 30 minute core workout; Group Blast is an athletic cardio program using a step platform. Those programs are all fitness based. I've also been teaching willPower & grace, a smart, barefoot mind/body program that's been compared to the cardio option for yoga. (visit www.willpowerfit.com for more information). While I am not teaching group fitness, I work in the Membership Accounting office at my gym, assisting with memberships. I am the proud mother of a 3rd grader. I'm an avid skiier, and have also created ski conditioning classes as well as basketball conditioning classes and circuit training groups. I enjoy playing co-ed softball in the summer and going to ice hockey and baseball games. Music is also a huge passion of mine. I receive the greatest joy in watching others work hard to reach their fitness goals, all while having a great time!
