A long distance runner, Julie Isphording has made her mark over the years and over the miles.  Her landmark race was the first ever Olympic Marathon Trials for women in1984. This pioneer captured a spot on the US Olympic team with her third place finish, and also captured the hearts of America with her heart-felt and memorable smile over the final mile. 

 

Julie is also an award-winning radio host, renowned keynote speaker and author of three books, including the bestselling--Get Healthy. Get Happy: How to Make Small Changes That Give You Big Results. 

 

Julie works for many Fortune 500 companies as health consultant.  She is also the race director for the W & S Thanksgiving Day 10k Run/Walk for 16,000 people.  And just for fun, she still runs every morning, teaches Pilates and plays a lot.  

 

Julie has appeared in many publications--- New York Times, USA Today, Sports Illustrated, and the LA Times-- and has won many marathons. Some of her awards include the Girl Scouts’ Woman of Distinction, Xavier University Sports Hall of Fame, Healthcare Hero Award, and Business Leaders under Forty.
