Originally from Peru, I have lived in the United States since 2002. I started practicing yoga out of neccessity to relieve back pain. Not only did Yoga help me elimnate back pain but I quickly learned there was a lot more going on than just a physical practice.
I practiced Hatha and Vinyasa for 10 years before doing my yoga teacher training. Introduced to Ashtanga during my 2000 hrs teacher training, I felt a strong connection to this specific school of yoga. Since then, I have surrendered to the challenges and lessons of ashtanga. On this path, I have had the opportunity to learn from David Swenson, Kino Macgregor and David Williams. I love teaching traditional ashtanga as well as power vinyasa classes.
Sharing Yoga with others is really a privilege. It is an honor to help the students find the connection of breath, body and mind throught this practice. Seeing them experience deeper levels of peace, acceptance and greater joy gives me joy.
I speak English, Spanish, French and understand Portuguese.
