Kirk Charles has motivated and educated his audience in professional and life skills through print, radio, television and internet media over the last twenty years.

An alumnus of Rutgers University class of ’86, Kirk began his professional career working at AT&T and UPS as a computer analyst. After two years in Corporate America, Kirk retired in 1988 and founded AccuWord, Inc., a full service court reporting and tape transcription firm, servicing the legal communities of New York and New Jersey.

After operating AccuWord for 13 years, Kirk began his career in financial services in 2001. He has serviced clients as a Financial Consultant, working with Fortune 500 companies Salomon Smith Barney in Short Hills, New Jersey and AXA Advisors, in Manhattan.  From 2005 through August of 2009 Kirk worked as a Senior Loan Officer with NJ Lenders Corp., helping clients finance residential and investment properties.

During Kirk’s more than 15 years as an entrepreneur, he has also touched millions of lives as a writer and motivator. He has over 60 nationally published business and motivational articles.  He has also given life skills and motivational presentations to entrepreneurs, college students and those far less fortunate.

Kirk currently devotes his time and energy into education, nutritional coaching, publishing and physical fitness.  He has authored a self-empowerment book, Live in the Power Zone; and he has developed a unique and exciting workout program, The 2-Minute Office Workout.  Kirk is currently working on a new workout program to conquer the Baby Boomer midlife crisis through exercise entitled Fit Beyond 50!

Kirk is a Certified Personal Trainer and Corrective Exercise Specialist with the National Academy of Sports Medicine; a Group Exercise Instructor with the Aerobics & Fitness Association of America; and a Certified Golf Fitness Instructor with the Titleist Performance Institute. 

Kirk is an avid golfer, lover of jazz music and a lifelong resident of New Jersey.
