Raised in Northern CA.  Have always loved sports and fitness. Gymnastics, track, cheerleading and spring board diving took up my time as a child.  Began Jazzercising in 1998 to get fit for my wedding in September of that same year. Found Jazzercise and have been doing it ever since (see description below).  Certified to teach in 2004 in WI. Also taught in NY and TX, where I live now. I love motivating my students. They are taking their time to come and work out and I want them to get the most out of it.  Everyone has a different level of fitness and so everyone should make their workout their own. Exercise not only helps to get us fit but it also reduces our stress.  I feel fulfilled when my students are smiling and sweating at the end of class!!

I love to exercise and I will try any kind of fitness.  I have started to run 5Ks and my goal is to run a 10K this year.

 

Jazzercise combines dance, strength training, yoga, Pilates and kickboxing movements into a fun and effective total body workout. Mix of Latin, hip hop and jazz movements. Routines are choreographed to current hits by major recording artists. Every Jazzercise class combines cardio moves to enhance endurance and burn lots of calories (up to 600 in 60 minutes), strength training to define muscles and strengthen your core, and stretching to increase flexibility. Use of hand-held weights, resistance tubes and balls can also be used to enhance and promote a total body workout. Able to teach body sculpting and strength classes as well.
