Lauren found yoga 10 years ago as a way to relieve the stress and anxiety of her job as a TV news producer. What started as a way to get some exercise and chill out once a week, has now into turned into a dedicated practice that she carries with her on and off the mat.

After seeing the impact that it made on her own life, Lauren decided that yoga was a gift she wanted to give to others. She completed her 200-hour teacher training at Tranquil Space in the fall of 2010. Since then, she’s found her groove, teaching light-hearted, fun classes, complete with a wide range of music, including lots of hip hop, rock and pop.

Lauren is still a TV news producer (but much calmer), and now specializes in medical and health reporting. She can often be found in the newsroom leading impromptu asana and pranayama practice, as well as giving out lots of savasana assists to her stressed out co-workers.
