As a person, I thrive on personal growth and development while pushing the limits of my being. After competing in the Sydney Olympics as a pitcher for Team Canada's softball team, I longed for a new direction in my life. Yoga has filled that empty space in my heart. My yoga journey began in 2009 with a 200 hour Kripalu yoga teacher training. Amazed with what I discovered, my thirst to learn was deeper than ever. Since my first training, I have completed a 500 hour advanced vinyasa teacher training in India, an Emotional Fitness life coach and Souluna life coach certification, as well as a thai yoga massage certification.
Every training I have embarked on helps me discover and rediscover who I truly am, what I value, and how I want to live my life and most importantly, it helps me remain engaged with life!
"Diving into the unknown is part of the beautiful journey of life" defines how I guide my life. Sometimes I find myself sinking, but I always float back to the surface. Luminous Studio allows me an opportunity to share my knowledge to all those willing to come for a swim with me.
I have never worked for anyone in the holistic field therefore do not feel I can provide professional references. I can provide references from yoga students and a previous employer which was not related to yoga... if that is of any help.
