I grew up in a family that was always in to fitness and had great examples of health through my parents. I completed a few running races and triathlons before and after I started to instruct classes. I started fitness instuction in 2009 while I was overseas serving in the U.S. Army. I always enjoyed fitness, but after teaching some cycling classes, I found that I really enjoyed leading a group and seeing how people really enjoyed that environment. When I came back in January 2010, I started teaching classes at the YMCA - boot camp, strength and cycling classes. I got my YMCA certification in early 2010. In 2012, I started teaching boot camp and cycling at Xcel Sports in Appleton, WI. In October 2013, I had my first child, and soon after had the idea of 360° Fitness. I invited my sister, and co-founder, Britney, to join me as she had a similar background. Our business focuses on family fitness, both through Stroller classes and boot camps (for now), and education regarding personal development and leadership. In March 2013, I went to NETA training for Group Fitness Instruction and did a class on Tabata and HIIT. I am currently waiting for my confirmation of certification for NETA Group Fitness.
