I was born in New York City and left Long Island at 17 to journey through college, at the University of Buffalo and of Berkeley. I studied meditation, Self Realization Fellowship started by Parmahansa Yogananda, while raising my children in the Ozark Mountains. I founded and Pastored a non-denominational church, House of Blessing, for fourteen years. I became certified in Kripalu Yoga, and Pilates in 2004. I then received certification in Vedic Thai Massage in 2007 and in Yamuna Ball Rolling in 20012. I reside in South Florida with my husband and daughter, Eliana Girard, who is the winner of Season 9 So You Think You Can Dance, and toured with Taylor Swift. I taught Yoga, Pilates, and Meditation at PGA National and at the Breakers Hotel in Palm Beach for 8 years, as well as drug rehab centers. I have 6 children and 12 grandchildren. I enjoy teaching and incorporating various healing modalities into my practice. I adapt my class instruction to my clientelle, as I read the needs of the individual. Namaste
