Monique Rogers

Some like it Hot, Hot, Hot!

Monique Rogers is a certified and registered RYT200 Yoga Instructor specializing in heated Power Vinyasa and AntiGravity Aerial Yoga and Fitness with nearly a decade of cumulative experience.  Her unique style and instruction provides an uplifting heartfelt, and often humorous experience for her students while challenging their physical strength and mental awareness.

"Every time a student arrives on their yoga mat or in their aerial hammock, an opportunity for playful self discovery and serious exploration occurs.  These sessions are as individual as the students themselves, never repeated in the same level or form.  The transformation in each student is clearly visible as the challenges, laughter, stress release, and pain relief that Yoga allows moves through them each time they return for practice."

Monique's Yoga practices are structured to reach into the mind, body, and spirit with an opening meditation, then move into a heated and sometimes intensive 100 degree athletic Vinyasa flow. Her students end class in a cooled, well-earned resting pose leaving their minds relaxed, bodies cleansed, and spirits gently shifting into a new awareness of self-healing and love.

Monique's extensive travels throughout the US and abroad have allowed her to work, study, an practice under some of the most well know instructors and practitioners in Yoga and holistic health communities.

  • Certified in Hot Power Vinyasa, a style of yoga fostered and made famous by Baron Baptiste, Seane Corn, and Bryan Kest, under whom she has also practiced.
  • Monique spent over two weeks in the rain forest jungles of Nosara, Costa Rica completing an intensive flow program including the study of the Yoga Sutras, alignments, and ancient asanas.
  • Seeking alternatives to yoga off the mat, Monique also studied AntiGravity Aerial Yoga and fitness in the high rises of New York, New York under the careful eye of the techniques originator, Christopher Harrison.
  • Her curiosity about ancient meditation and spiritual consciousness lead her to study at the Chopra Wellness Center in Carlsbad, California under Deepak Chopra and Davidji where she is currently completing Ayurvedic studies to become a Vedic Master.
