Christine began her fitness career at an early age as a competing gymnast and dancer. She performed with numerous dance and theater companies before becoming a gymnastics and dance coach. She attended Red Bank Regional High School for Performing Arts, the Governor’s School of NJ and was a member of the Shore Ballet Company for 5 years, the Royal Academy of Dance and the Princeton Ballet Jr. Company. She has participated in residences with the Alvin Ailey Dance Company as well as the New Jersey Ballet Theater and has taken from numerous guest instructors from Broadway, TV and Dance Companies. She was a dance and aerobics instructor after graduating High School and before landing a job in the music business working for the rock band, Bon Jovi as the Director of Artist Relations.
After many years of feeling unbalanced and overworked in the music business, she returned to a more healthy career as a massage therapist, but the yearning to dance was always there. "It was a struggle to find adult dance classes that weren’t strictly ballet or modern or tap, etc. It wasn’t until finding Nia at age 38, that I realized I could dance once again! This work made me feel authentic…that I was following my passion and I wanted to share it with others from my very first class”. After Nia, came a love of Zumba which led to certifying in Aqua, Gold and Step as well. Christine also enjoys circuit training and jumped at the opportunity to become a certified teacher in the East/West Chi Camp technique created by John Nies, where boot camp style training meets Martial Arts mind and spirit conditioning. "There is nothing I love more than sharing the joy of dance and movement with others. I smile my entire class and hope to make my students feel as good as I do when I am healthy and moving."
