My name is Lacessa Corry. I received my BSN from Indiana University in 1996. I went on to get my Masters in Nursing in 2002. I have always loved sports and fitness. As a child, I did 7 years of gymnastics along with many other sports in highschool. During Nursing school, I became a runner and started taking many group fitness classes. After I became a professional nurse, I continue taking group fitness classes until I was approached to start teaching in 2003. At that time, my first son was born. I continued teaching group fitness classes ever since on a casual basis of 2-3 classes per weeks at various neighborhood clubs. Since then I have had 3 more children. In the past two years, I became acquainted with the owner of Powersculpt fitness which is studio dedicated to group fitness. I have gradually picked up more classes and I am currently teaching 6 classes there and 1 at Lakeshore Athletic Club. I would say my speciality is cardio sculpting. My classes are extremely energetic and I change the work-out every time. I also teach a cycle class.
