Kaitlyn first discovered yoga in college. Initially she was attracted to yoga as means to avoid going to the gym. After going away to a yoga wellness center for a retreat, Kaitlyn become more interested in the philosophy and mind body connection in yoga. In addition she discovered her practice had the ability to heal an old reoccurring knee injury. With these experiences Kaitlyn decided in 2012 complete her 200 hr teaching certification, so she could share with others the gifts yoga has given to her. Kaitlyn teaches a wide variety of classes which include gentle, beginngers, prenatal, chair yoga, childrens, and teens. Her classes focus on coordinating breath with movement as well as encouraging her students to listen to what feels right for their bodies.
