VENECCA G. GREEN

Venecca Green works full-time as a Consumer Protection Attorney for the Attorney General for the State of Mississippi.  Her passion is health, fitness and an active lifestyle.  Venecca has always had a love for fitness and early on thought she would become a Physical Education teacher. Venecca is a certified fitness professional and a USPTR certified tennis professional. Venecca has taught a myriad of group exercise classes over the span of her career in health clubs and gyms across the U. S. and abroad.  Venecca was selected as one of three (3) Ambassadors to co-lead a national group in Jackson call Black Girls Run! (BGR!).  Through BGR! Jackson, Venecca has been able to take her passion for motivating others to achieve healthy lifestyles and fitness to a higher level. 

Venecca plays 4.0+ level tennis as well as captains beginner and intermediate USTA league teams. Venecca successfully managed a tennis facility for five (5) years.  She teaches lessons to all levels.  Venecca has played on tennis teams that have advanced to play in the USTA Sectional and National Championships. 

Venecca has held national certifications with the American Aerobics & Fitness Association (AAFA), the International Sports and Conditioning Association (ISCA), is licensed to teach Zumba, Les Mils Body Pump, Powder Blue Hustle and Turbo Kick.  Venecca is owner We Are Ready (W.A.R.) Sports 365 where she conducts bootcamp and other high intensity workouts, 365 days a year, rain or shine.  In 2011, Venecca developed and introduced Cardio Line Dancing  (CDL) as a form of group exercise.  

As long as she can, Venecca plans to inspire and encourage others to become fit and healthy.
