Staraya McKinstry

I grew up in Homer, Alaska and was raised holistically by my parents. My upbringing has lead to a lifelong interest in health and wellness. I left home and went to college in Reno, NV on a dance scholarship, where wear and tear on my body created a passion inside of me to seek something better and healthier for my body, mind and spirit. I came to Indianapolis for graduate school and got my masters in Public Health Policy from I.U. School of Medicine. A few years back I discovered a more in depth yoga practice, which lead me to Ayurveda. I am now a yoga instructor and Ayurveda practitioner and I love bringing these sister sciences together when I teach. Yoga and Ayurveda takes in consideration, the body, mind and spirit, giving balance, health and happiness to the entire being...... Something I strongly believe is worth spreading!
