Jamil has been living in Toronto, Canada ever since he was 6,
practicing spiritual disciplines most of his life.
His shift towards a more holistic way of life began at 24, when he realized his inherent dissatisfaction with life, regardless of where it took him. All external accomplishments, and achievements were short lived, and the empty feeling would remain afterwards. He naturally turned more towards meditation and introspection. Over the next 6 years to the present moment, he has dedicated his life to happiness and understanding of self. Studying full time on everything from all: occult, new age, religion, dream interpretation, lucid dreaming, self-hypnosis, nutrition, exercise, breath control, and countless hours of daily meditation. Over time what started as a gradual shift, began to exponentially increase, to the point where Jamil didn't recognize himself from one month to the next. More so he began to inherently understand things, through his own connection to his higher wisdom. He began releasing practices that did not serve his path, and was guided towards Yoga, in all its forms.
Through his own realization, he has understood the importance of a Yogic body, Vedic mind and Open heart. "A healthy being resonates and expresses from the heart. Staying and living from the heart, is the journey and the destination of all sentient beings. In reality it is only the mind that is in journey growing and purifying itself, projecting itself to the past and future. The heart always remains in center. Learning to be aware of all yet staying in the heart is the practice."
Jamil now practices the yogic lifestyle.
Specializing in energy work, and pranayama (breath control). He utilizes his in depth experience to share an holistic approach to Yoga that will deepen the connection of the body, mind, and spirit.
