My name is John DeJesus and I would like to be considered for a positon as a Group Instructor of Indoor Cycling or Strength/Cardio related classes. In addition to having 15 years of nonprofit management experience with youth and Families, I also have a longtime love and passion for sports and fitness. At Cardinal Hayes High School I was the Captain of the track team and later I competed at Boston College as a sprinter and triple jumper. I currently compete in area half marathons and triathlons. I am also a group instructor that teaches Cycling, TRX Suspension Training, Kettlebell, Bootcamp formats and Total Body Conditioning. I will soon have PiYo Certification through Beachbody. I have vast experience in many forms of exercise and strength conditioning. I also have a keen ability to work with people who have all levels of fitness needs. I have worked with youth, the developmentally disabled, post rehabilitative and everyday normal people.
I am currently, employed at Creative LifeStyles, Inc. as the Associate Executive Director. Some of my responsibilities include the oversight of a team of fitness professionals that operate a gym dedicated to the developmentally disabled.
My current position allows me to be the bridge amongst departments. I am a team player that firmly believes in individual and group empowerment. I am an avid fitness professional and enthusiast.
