- Jason Harper
Jason Harper is life long California resident. His Character Combine program is a leader in teaching athletes how to compete on and off the field. As a well known fitness consultant, weight loss expert, and cardio coach, Jason is a motivator. In the last 8 years, he has trained novice and beginners to walk, jog, then run a marathon. More than 600 people have finished their race using his ‘Couch 2 Course’ program that has been adopted by elementary schools to senior adults looking to get and stay healthy. In conjunction with Fleet Feet, a USA based running company, Jason has implemented Project Fit on more than 22 inner city schools in America's most underserved areas.
His clients range from soccer moms to cubicle working dads. He has trained a list of people from Hollywood insiders to rockstars, from rodeo riders to retired folks and senior adults looking for longevity. As the CEO and Founder of The Well Fit Group, Jason Harper is an industry expert. He mentors while he motivates and is committed to your success and goal achievement.
As an athlete, Jason Harper is also an ultra-runner who regularly runs distances of 30, 40, and 50 miles. In 2008, Harper ran for just over 24 hours and 102.7 miles to help secure children health care, acute dentistry, and after school fitness programs. The successful initiative dubbed “BE CHANGE” was covered by news agencies from as far away was England and Australia. His altruistic run raised nearly $80,000 in that first year and since then has launched numerous Be Change Fitness Groups at underserved schools across America.
In 2012, Harper was one of eight elite ultra-runners who ran from Chicago to Los Angeles. Stopping at underserved schools, the Run It Forward initiative and its runners covered 2500 miles in 17 days 13 hours and 58 minutes.
In 2014, again, Harper led a small group of runners to run from Orlando to the Mexico border in South West Texas. Despite a torn MCL and torn Meniscus in his right knee, he led his team to a successful 14 day finish to cover just over 1500 miles. He ran all but one day.
Harper’s passion for fitness and healthy living is the engine that drives him. Sought after as a top keynote communicator, Jason travels and speaks across America on developing fitness initiatives for underserved kids.
