  • Experienced long-distance runner and performance indoor cycle instructor.
  • Experience in prepping the individual and groups for short and long races including route maps, training schedules, nutrition, cross-training and corrective stretching (foam rolling). 
  • Experience and comfort in managing fitness instructors and trainers.
  • Excellent communication skills and great ability to follow and give verbal and written instructions.
  • Master of timing and tempo
  • Immense working knowledge of how the body moves.
  • Exceptional ability to choreograph group fitness routines such as cardio step, kickboxing, total body conditioning, dance, mind-body and cycling; Able to train others on the formats
  • Certified and skilled to teach the majority of group fitness offerings including but not limited to: Les Mills BodyPump, CXWorx, BodyAttack and GRIT, Zumba, Turbo Kick Box, Yoga, mat Pilates, aerobic step, strength and endurance training, Boot camps, HIIT/Tabata, dance, cycling, senior fitness and aqua fitness.
  • Instructs by example and ensures each exercise is being performed safely and correctly by each client and or class participant; offers modifications.
  • Proficient in instructing and demonstrating proper use of weight equipment.
  • Experienced in weight lifting and preparation for competitive fitness with a thorough knowledge and understanding of the overload principle and specificity in weight lifting.
  • Vast knowledge of exercise physiology, anatomy, and nutrition.
  • Very knowledgeable with fitness industry trends; Regularly attends fitness conventions and workshops; Strong in market research and demographics
  • Can properly perform all the functions of a fitness assessment and develop effective and appropriate exercise and nutrition programs for individuals based on assessment results and the participant's personal goals.
  • Counsels individuals on clean and healthy eating for sustainable health and weight loss.
  • Experienced and comfortable working with special populations (i.e. individuals with diabetes, hypothyroidism, adrenal fatigue, M.S., Parkinson’s and post-secondary rehabilitative injuries).
  • Always excited to recruit and coach new instructors and trainers.
  • Very comfortable selling; highly motivated and ready to move on “Go”.
  • Proficient in most computer applications; Fast learner; Able to train others
