Hi my name is Shanna Hubbard. I am a 27 year old Fitness Enthusiast! I have studied Exercise specifically from Salisbury University, and received my Bachelor's of Science Degree in Exercise Science in the Spring of 2013. I am currently pursuing my Master's degree in Health and Physical Education from Northwest Missouri State University. I am a graduate assistant at the Fitness Center at Northwest. I started this two year program Fall 2014 and will graduate in Spring 2015. As a graduate assistant at the Fitness Center I am the Group Exercie Coordinator. I am responsible for creating the group exercise schedule's each semester, sending out regular e-mails and updates too all the instructors, promoting the classes, and teaching several classes. Also at the Fitness Center I am a Personal Trainer. Since the Fall 2014 semester I have had 26 clients. Personal training is a free amenity the Fitness Center provides. As a graduate assistant, I also am responsible for teaching a Physical Education Course to the University students. Group Exercise is the course I taught the first year in my program, my classes ranged from 10-20 students. After I graduate from Northwest I plan to become a Health and Physical Education Teacher. I will continue to be a Group Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer as a second occupation and in the summer. Health and Fitness are passions in life. I truley enjoy teaching people different forms of exercise and look forward to every class. I feel lucky to have the ability to share my passion with the world and be able to make a living, all the while living my dreams.
