I grew up in Europe and moved to the US for College, where I've stayed since. I speak English, Spanish, French, Greek and some Italian.
I have an undergraduate degree in psychology and a graduate degree in clinical social work, as well as post graduate specialty training in child and adolescent psychotherapy, trauma evaluation and critical incident stress debriefing. I began my career working in community mental health where trauma and addictions were recurring themes. In an effort to accelerate and deepen the therapeutic process, I pursued more holistic and transformational methods of healing, including clinical hypnotherapy and breathwork. I currently work with individuals, couples, families and groups, providing services in wellness, trauma, and performance enhancement.
I have always turned to movement - through dance and exercise - for release and renewal. Eager to share its deeply healing potential with others, I decided to pursue a second career in fitness, thus blending my passions for wellness, group exercise, and teaching.
I have a dynamic teaching style, encouraging my groups to be mindfully aware and fully engaged in the moment, as well as to use their breath to center and align themselves and move past their self-imposed limitations. I inspire and empower my participants to pursue their fitness and life goals with passion and focus, and to lead fuller, healthier, balanced, and more energetic lives that honor their own profoundly unique road to self discovery.
